WELCOME TO OUR FARM,
MY NAME IS SARA
I'm a mother of three and our farm is in San Michele del Carso, a small village in the heart of the Karst plateau surrounding the town of Gorizia. More than a hundred years ago this area was the center of the World War I. Already in those past years my great-great-grandfather Ivan worked the land, a red earth, vivid, framed by the hard karstic rock which made agriculture more than a hard job, almost heroic. My grandfather Renato dedicated his whole life to this little patch of land. A land that sometimes might be misunderstood, but also a land that in autumn is characterised by the vibrant warm colours of sommaco, cradled by a gentle, nurturing breeze.

Our mission is to enhance the value of our Karst region
We are responsible for a limited production of honey. The Marasca cherry tree is typical of the Middle - East Countries, but an exception is made for Karst, where this tree has found his perfect microclimate to grow where the broadleaf forest, the pasture and the vegetable garden end. Still, its diffusion is very limited and the honey derived too.
